Jubaili Bros Powered by Perkins
Trusted power from Jubaili Bros, powered by Perkins diesel engines. Built to last, ready to perform.
The JAM72S30-580/LR module is engineered to deliver reliable and bankable power output for commercial, industrial, and utility scale installations. With a nameplate capacity of 580 watts peak, it offers an excellent balance between energy density and ease of handling on site. The design leverages half cell architecture, precision laser cutting, and multi bus bar interconnection to reduce series resistance, boost current collection, and improve shading tolerance on partially obstructed arrays. Standard 144 half cells arranged in a 6 by 24 matrix lower resistive losses and cut hot spot risk, extending long term reliability.
Each cell is manufactured using a rigorous, inline quality control program that screens for micro cracks, color deviation, EL defects, and low performance outliers. Cells pass through automated optical inspection and electroluminescence imaging stations before stringing, ensuring that only premium grade cells enter the lamination process. The module laminate is constructed with PID resistant encapsulant films and UV stabilized backsheet (or rear glass on bifacial versions), providing long term resistance to moisture ingress and potential induced degradation. Edge sealant lines, corner key protection, and a low modulus silicone secondary seal further enhance resistance to thermal cycling and humidity freeze exposure.
JA Solar has specified an impressive mechanical load rating of 5400 Pa on the front side and 2400 Pa on the rear side, verified by independent laboratories in accordance with IEC 61215 and IEC 61730. Heavy snow or wind zones therefore present no issue when the module is mounted with a certified racking system. Together with the strong 3.2 mm tempered glass and anodized aluminium frame, the module remains dimensionally stable over decades of operation.
Installation teams value the module's practical footprint and manageable weight. The overall dimensions are 2333 x 1134 x 30 mm and the total weight is approximately 28 kg, allowing a single installer on the roof or ground mount to position the unit without excessive fatigue. Standard MC4 compatible connectors simplify string assembly, while a generous cable length allows for flexible routing around rails and clamps.
The electrical characteristics exhibit a positive power tolerance of 0 to +5 W, a low temperature coefficient of power of -0.34 % per degree Celsius, and outstanding low irradiance performance down to 200 W per square metre. That translates into higher energy harvest on cloudy mornings, hazy afternoons, and cold winter days when conventional modules underperform. Customers benefit from a lower levelized cost of energy over the system lifetime.
JA Solar backs its product with a 12 year limited material and workmanship warranty and a 25 year linear power warranty that guarantees no more than 0.55 % annual degradation after the first year. Third party insurance coverage can be provided upon request for additional bankability assurance. The module is compatible with all mainstream inverters, optimizers, and rapid shutdown devices, and is listed on the CEC listing for global incentive programs.
